The Garden Day Campers were invited to partake of a free ice cream cone at the recently opened downtown bookstore, Garlic City Books.
Once the list of flavors had been announced, campers stepped up one by one, named their desired flavor, and received their ice cream treat. [So many flavors from which to choose, what should I do?]
In return for this generous gift, the campers gathered outside the bookstore and presented Sam, the bookstore manager, with a big Thank You banner that they had made and signed.
