“Thank You” presents of lavender sachets, beeswax candles, and beautiful cards signed by the campers are presented to the teen interns, volunteers, and teachers.
The tummy is full, the celebration winds down, and everyone walks back to the Garden only a short block away. I think it might be time for that nap I learned about in my Kindergarten days and dreams that relive all the wonderful events and activities of this summer’s Garden Day Camp.
